Eine grössere Studie an der American University, Washington, ergab, dass TM im Gehirn Alphawellen erzeugt. Die Mayo-Klinik verbindet Alphawellen mit einem «entspannten, glücklichen, konzentrierten» Bewusstseinszustand.
